Fig.Mutant a 26 year old Californian has been a poetical lyricist/hip hop artist for over 10 years, making music for UFC fighters, A movie released in Theatres in 2009, Fox Sports Network, and a MMA Reality show being filmed at the legendary UFC referee Big John McCarthy’s Gym in Valencia California.
Fig.Mutant concentrates on making aggressive, realistic music that spans through all aspects of human emotion.
Fig.Mutant teamed up with hit producer Joey T, who won the Nine Inch Nails remix competition for a remix he did of the song Only.
Together they created the legendary underground album On My Mind. This CD was popularized because of the versatility and it featured the number 1 alternative Hip Hop song in the world (according to SoundClick.com) (If These Walls…) Fig. starting getting a buzz around the Mixed Martial Arts world.
Fresh off an airplane from performing at the 2006 Maxim Magazine New Years party, Fig.Mutant used his new inspiration to be a focal point of his upcoming album. In 2007 in between touring, he got together with UFC Fighter Mike Swick, and created custom music for the fighter.

After gaining national exposure for his aggressive style, and cerebral lyrics, Fig.Mutant returned home and won the Modesto Area Music Award for best Hip Hop artist in Northern California. Fig.Mutant has been in various newspapers throughout the Central Valley and just completed his new CD for the MMA world titled, Fight or Die.
Mutant is currently working with film/reality show producer Noah Mathers (who worked on Spike TV’s The Ultimate Fighter 1 show) to create a music video for the song BURN.
Fig.Mutant performs with a DJ, his band, or solo; whatever it takes to give the crowd what they want. His diversity and uncanny performances lead him to share the stage with such national touring acts as: Naughty by Nature, Blue October, Coolio, Digital Underground, Living Legends, Hieroglyphics, Krs One, Visionaries, and more. Fig.Mutant is currently working with other professional fighters on making custom music for them, including entrance music and custom songs for their websites.
Fig.Mutant is currently open to negotiating the release of the album under a record label.
